Azeryth It was HARD to pick a favorite here on Chimera, so the title track will do! Melissa's voice is so gorgeous and compliments d.notive's sound so beautifully! Close contenders would be Ultimatum, Opposite Equals and Alter! It was so cool to have sat in for d's streams to watch these tracks come together. This album is a must-have for your collection.~ Favorite track: Chimera (ft. Melissa Medina).

FoxPuppy The way this EP starts, it slinks its way into you and then shifts your consciousness to the point of changing the way your body feels. The narrative is so good that I'm going to be upset if no one makes it into a movie. This is next level by every metric.

Breakdown: It's too late for us. It's too dangerous. 'don't know who to trust It's too late for us... The world's on fire and you don't know your place. You're on borrowed time with the human race. It's time to cast aside your skin and in the flames you're born again.

Verse 1: Self-destruction, I can't help but want some Papercut, watch the blood drip from my tongue Another hit burning holes into my lungs... Got a type and I go for the crazy and she like how my conscience is lazy. She's my hellfire lover on the daily. Feel like I lost my soul since I've been thrown outta Eden. Got no self control... the way she dances with me. Was it the way that I talk? Forked-tongue. I lie through my teeth. ...but hey I finally found a lover; she's the mother of demons. Chorus 1: Take a drag, kick it back, we can go slow. This attraction is toxic and we know when we suffer only time we feelin' at home. Honey, love's not enough gotta hate me. Want it rough? Sink your fangs and sedate me. Hand-cuffed we drag each other down to Hades. Verse 2: ... and she lost her soul since she's been thrown outta Eden. Got no self control, the way she dances with me. Was it the way that I talk? Forked-tongue. I lie through my teeth. ...but hey I finally found a lover; she's the mother of demons. You're a Monster to me. You're a Monster for me. You're a Monster to me. You're a Monster for me. You're a Monster to me. You're a Monster for me. You're a Monster to me. You're a Monster to me... Chorus 2: It's okay to take your time with it; That's when love finds you, up and away You don't have to carry it through. Opposite Equals, in harmony. Verse 3: These angels can fly and sing sweet lullabies. Drag 'em down. Ain't a thing. We can clip all their wings. I'm your bed full of nails. You're the holes in my sails. I'm the stone in your path. You're the crack in my glass. You're a Monster to me. (Love as a blade.) You're a Monster to me. (Waltzin' through flames) You're a Monster to me. (A palace in hell) You're a Monster to me. (Down we fell...) Outro: Oooh You're a Monster to me... Oooh You're a monster to me...

Alter 03:17
Living in this empty world full of dreams and broken promises, there’s something stirring deep inside. I don’t wanna have to play pretend, while I wait for their world to end to unleash the animal inside. I feel her chanting in my ear. I feel her calming all my fears... ...as her skin rips apart my mind. There’s nothing left to chance as we make our sacrificial dance and as one go tearing through the night. I see their little human lives and know they’ll never realize the greatness they have left behind. Building their monuments to claim the same earth they have preordained to languish under their new reign. As my claws tear through the ground and I move without a sound the clarity of it all comes. In this future they will build where those like me are killed I shed my skin and take the night. ...and when I am reborn and take on my new form will they cower at the sight of me? As I rend flesh limb from limb and fill the night with my new hymn I still feel sorrow for you all.

about

Without warning, humanity is suddenly caught in the crossfire when latent, old-world magic resurfaces, and its champions declare war on the dystopian cyberpunk future we'd spent centuries creating for ourselves.

Mythical creatures of yore rise up to restore our dying world by decimating all that we had built, and the human race swiftly evaporates into nothingness.

The survivors are forced to adapt or face inevitable extinction.

From the ashes, humans are reborn, wielding genetic science and monstrous magic to usher in a new age of our evolution:

The Age of the Chimera.
